Lost in Thought

Medieval Waitrose Bill?

We've been over to Norwich today, mostly to visit the cathedral, which is quite spectacular.  Much to enjoy if you like this sort of architecture, but we were both taken by the medieval wall paintings in a small room above the ambulatory*.  Gill thought these two looked like they were checking the bill after shopping in Waitrose.
My take: she has organised a click and collect order, he has collected it but not followed the instructions regarding substitutions .... obviously - I have minimal experience of this situation :-)

A more conventional view in the extra.

On a more serious note - the inscription on the memorial to Edith Cavell is something a few world leaders could do with taking note of.
I realise that patriotism is not enough.
I must have no hatred or bitterness towards anyone.
