Irregular
One of my study goals for the summer is to get to grip with the irregular verbs in Gaelic - excluding the verbs to be, there are only 10 of them so it shouldn't be too onerous a task. I can generally remember them if I sit down and think about them but would like them to come to mind when I speaking.
Today I was focusing on "thoir" which can mean give or take or bring depending on context. In doing so I "enjoyed" exploring some of the idioms associated with it.
I rather enjoy getting to grips with the grammar - one of many things I didn't expect to be doing once retired. Cold water swimming being another. Ditto sketching and needle-felting.
T is down in Edinburgh tonight playing a gig with his friend T and so I will continue watching The Handmaid's Tale. I am nearly finished the first series, which I had watched before, and am finding it as powerful, if not more so, second time around.
