Further my skills

Lorsch

The weather was fine and I still had to finish my task of 400km cycling in the four weeks ending this week. So I drove "down" to the Rhine valley and added 54km to my sum, leaving one more stage to go.
My tour went also through Lorsch, a nice little city. Famous mostly for the Carolingian abbey, founded in 764. My entry shows the gatehouse in the front, and the remains of the church in the background.
My extra shows the townhall, built in 1715. You can find the tourist information inside, there to help you (e.g. find interesting spots).

This entry is my 2000th. Of course nothing compared to the age of above buildings, but still quite some time. And I would still be here if not for you, my fellow-blippers. This community is terrific.
