Cinema

Start at the end and work backwards. 

The Filmhouse reopened tonight to supporters ahead of Friday's public opening. We had to queue to get in but the place looks great and there was a fantastic buzz, and celebrity Prosecco. The first film, as anticipated, accompanied with much whooping and applause, was Cinema Paradiso. I wanted a shot of the bar full, and with the new Filmhouse sign, but people kept getting in the way. If never seen Cinema Paradiso before. Definitely the right film for a reopening. 

Earlier if met K and A off the M92 and we had lunch at the Dovecot before the Colourists exhibition (3rd time for me) and then down to JL for coffee and more chat. I sat in the Gardens after they'd left. It was not warm.

But first I tidied the house, enrolled on the Wednesday drama course from September, put up pictures, struggled with Companies House log in and while swimming was definitively told I was (accused of) lying by the ever gracious Suzanne and her sidekick, Marianne.

But it was a good day.
