Down the steps

I was disappointed to wake up to rain this morning, even though it was quite light. As I’d arranged to do some weeding outside the Corran Halls this afternoon I’d checked two forecasts and they’d both promised a totally dry day, cloudy with the odd ray of sunshine. However, by lunchtime the rain had stopped and I went to pick up Sue who was coming with me. I had put a plea out on our Facebook page the night before, as soon as I’d heard the forecast, but it was very short notice and I wasn’t surprised that nobody else turned up.
 
We spent a couple of hours weeding steps and paving - I did the steps, my Blip today. From where I was working I could see a new cruise ship in the bay - looked more like a slug than a ship - today’s extra!
 
Good to get back home for a nice cup of tea!
