New shoes

A productive morning at the gym and an afternoon catch up with P has left me blipless, hence the new shoes. A necessary purchase after the last remaining bits of tread on my old pair disappeared on the rocky paths in Armenia and Georgia.
I can’t replace like for like, Keen have redesigned the model I’ve worn for years. Irritatingly they are 25% heavier and the laces a bit too short to make an easy double knot so I’ve reused the old laces.
I hope I don’t get my first blister since I stopped wearing school shoes.
