On the riverbank

A trip to the library tocollect a couple of new books I’d reserved just a couple of weeks ago. On the way back the sun came out and I spent a fair chunk of the afternoon looking for kingfishers, which failed to appear.
Good catch up with a neighbour, followed by a very successful attempt at shortening a pair of linen trousers preserving the original hem.
