Snowy Spires

I bottled up the blackcurrant cordial this morning and had a sample to taste. I think it’s turned out well. Later I walked into Emsworth to do a few errands. It takes around half an hour of brisk walking so is an enjoyable length. It’s been warm and humid today so I felt quite hot by the time I returned home.

This afternoon I’ve been to the allotment to water some fruit trees belonging to a friend who is currently away. The trees are recently planted so need frequent watering in this dry weather. On her plot she has a number of pineapple guava bushes. They have the most beautiful, tropical looking flowers and people say the fruit tastes like minty pineapple.

This evening I’ve been to yoga. Thankfully it was a relatively easy class so we didn’t get too hot and tired.

These cool looking verbascum caught my eye. I think they are called Snowy Spires.
