Vetch

I came across these very attractive blooms while walking along the track to Calgary pier. I thought I recognised it as a form of vetch and when I looked it up it seems that it’s is ‘Tufted vetch’, also known as ‘Cow vetch’ or ‘Bird vetch’. I am happy to be corrected by anyone more knowledgable than I am. I really like the violet-blue colour and the number of flower heads crowded onto one stalk.
