Fun!

Today was our 42nd anniversary!  We went out to breakfast then for a drive up the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge.  We stopped in several places to take some photos and look around, my favorite was near Hood River where and the windsurfers and kite boarders were out playing.  We sat on the bank of the river and watched them for quite a while.  The wind was very strong today, steady at 15 mph and gusting to 27 mph.  This is the reason this area of the gorge is famous for the boarders.  The wind would hit the camera lens and push it around, quite a work out to take photos let alone be out there on the boards.  We then continued on to one of our favorite wineries, Hood Crest.  We did a wine tasting then drove back home.
