Billy goes to Grandmas

After cleaning the oven I set off home with Billy the tortoise. We had a good journey home.
I set Billy up in some temporary accommodation. I.e a large cardboard box, lined with polythene and a thin coat of top soil, a small Amazon box for shelter, a reptile dish full of water with a chicken wire roof to keep the cats off. I gave him romaine lettuce to eat. He should have his heat lamp and uv light but we figured he’d be ok till the removal people bring them tomorrow afternoon.
Tom has driven his EV to Toria’s to support her through the rest of the move, finish any jobs that need doing and transport Toria and her computer paraphernalia on Friday after she’s handed her keys in.
Will and Meg have escaped to Cornwall for a few days, stopping off at Charlottes on the way.
