Leicester Lads

Tom and Toria:
The van arrived early. In Toria’s words “it’s a massive f%#¥ off van.” She’d been worried it wasn’t going to be big enough. The lads (from Leicester), were loaded up and on their way in good time.

Meanwhile up North:
I collected the keys to the new property and was shown round by the landlady. It’s gorgeous, the landlords live next door and are sound people.
The van arrived at 2pm ish. They unpacked. Great lads, fantastic work ethic and no damage to walls or furniture. I fed and watered them and they were in their way south to another job.

I collected mum from her house:
She helped me put Toria’s bed together and make her bed. We moved a few sets of drawers around too.

The animals:
Billy was inactive and probably a bit cool first thing. I put a hot water bottle under his box. It worked a treat. By lunchtime he was eating lettuce and paddling in his water dish.
Lou was very interested in this new creature, see photo.
Angus had no reaction whatsoever.

Evening:
Final clean for Tom and Toria followed by a delicious meal at a friend’s house.
Me crashed on the couch eating left overs.
