Close up

In winter we close up the blinds early to keep the warmth in. This is the corner of our kitchen. Today wasn’t a lot warmer in temperature but felt almost tropical with the sun shining all day. I was lovely outside. I raked leaves and carried some bricks to tidy up a bit. The poor garden has been neglected these last couple of years. 

On the way around the local block on my little walk I popped into Mitre 10 (hardware and garden centre). I got 2 punnets of primulas. When I got home 10 minutes later Bob asked if I had been to Mitre 10. They had sent the receipt to his phone. Honestly I can’t get away with anything!!

It is cloudless so we are expecting another cold morning tomorrow. 

I finished my book - Shallow Breath. I found it a bit disturbing as there was a lot about the treatment (mis treatment) of wildlife. Dolphins, Elephants and Orangutans.
