Dad & Daughter
Trerice House is a grand Elizabethan house on a small scale which takes visitors from the 1500s up to the 1950s. It features an enormous table, a notable collection of longcase clocks, and stunning plasterwork ceilings, all this is on top of some superb gardens.
Sam and I were there for the barn though, a room off to one side was the venue for a talk on; “The Cornish Chough - It’s Fall & Rise”.
Sam is an avid ‘Twitcher’ and I had booked our places using our National Trust membership as a treat. I found it really interesting, Sam signed up for the Cornish Birdwatchers Group there and then.
We fitted in coffee and cake afterwards before making our way home.
Another good day.
