New Sunglasses
I spent the first half of the day wiggling my mallet finger at the very personable Occupational Therapist at the Bradford Royal Infirmary. I now have a new splint moulded to my finger which is shorter in length so that I am able to 'exercise' my second joint. C the OT had a quick look at my unfettered finger and it has risen about 45 degrees so all good after two weeks, just another six to go.
Back home there was time for a quick cuppa then we were in the car to Skipton to collect our three pairs of glasses (sunglasses for me; running and ordinary glasses for Tony) from our very excellent independent opticians. Gerald, seen here with me modelling our sunglasses, was originally destined to live in owner Kaylie's home but he has become something of a well photographed fixture outside the shop. Naturally, I had to be blipped with him, both of us looking very cool I think!
