Allotment

Tony has been working hard in the allotment for some weeks.  At the moment the soft fruit is ripening so he has been coming down with bowls of raspberries, strawberries, cherries and now blackcurrants.  He recently discovered that the pond liner had been split by plants so is in the process of measuring for a new liner.

I had my fitness session early today and then spent an hour in the drying ground before lunch.  I popped in to see elderly neighbour M who seems to be very tired and quite fed up.  She is becoming less mobile and more withdrawn, very sad.

We are currently planning the next community day on the drying ground so I've delivered letters to the children inviting them to come paint rocks, create a fairy dell and sew some seed in their area.
