The West Port. St Andrews,
Scotland’s finest city gate has stood at the west end of South Street for more than 400 years. Today I drove through it for the first time in several years, looking for a parking space.
I have also posted an extra photo showing Historic Scotland’s information board which is worthy of study.
The weather was very window as the flag in the thumbnail demonstrates. Business completed I headed for home and for lunch.
I must remember to bring my book token with me on my next trip.
