The beach

Blipped the beach on my way back to the car having been at the charity shop this afternoon.

The weather was a bit different three hours earlier when it was pretty grey (see extra). I hear that we are in for higher temperatures coming at the weekend, however thankfully, we will be nowhere as stiflingly hot as some areas down south.

Also, worth noting that if you are watching ‘Department Q’ on Netflix, which was mostly filmed in Edinburgh, that Portobello beach appears in episode 4, along with the inside of the Volunteer Arms (aka Staggs) pub, although, they imply that it is the pub beside Greyfriars Bobby statue in Candlemaker Row. Who says the camera never lies …
