Jasper discovers the Cat Mint plants.
The Feast Day of Saint Josemaria Escriva de Balaguer.

Patron of Opus Dei and sufferers of diabetes.
Today has been enjoyable and busy.
In the photo, visiting cat Jasper, who knows how to open the greenhouse sliding door with his head, is discovering the Cat Mint plants. He loves them and he has demolished the one in the raised bed by rolling in it and getting very happy.
The weather is a mix of sun, wind, rain in a blustery cycle pattern. Indoors it is 22c in the living room and a temperature I find comfortable.
The blackbirds are not too bothered and have been singing joyfully in the garden.
After doing the usual morning tasks, I went to morning Mass at the Parish Church for 10am. The Church bells sounded magnificent this morning.
The greeter at the Church door told us to sit in the side seats because the whole school was coming to Mass to celebrate their yearly patronal service for St Peter and Paul. The children had prepared a short presentation and that went well. Father Eddie encouraged confident participation from the children. There was a lovely joyful spirit to the celebration and hearty singing. A toddler screamed loudly a few times but no one worried.
I am watching Escape to the Country with Paul, in West Yorkshire. The countryside is glorious and no wonder Yorkshire is fondly called God's own country.
Have a lovely afternoon blip friends and thank you for visiting my site today.
