Cirque de Baume

We had a mighty thunderstorm in the night last night. We had to pack up everything wet this morning.
After a cloudy start it soon cleared up, and we are now at the village of Baume Les Messieurs in the Jura mountains. The Village lies in a glacial valley and is surrounded by the huge rocks in the photos.
It is a very beautiful and scenic area and it’s quite a pleasant temperature this evening.
We just had a lovely beer and meal at the campsite bar and tomorrow hope to find some of the local sights like waterfalls and caves!
