Stalagmite

We like a good grotte. These particular ones are just up the road from where we are staying in Baume Les Messieurs.
We had a guided tour. Not that I could understand much. Some caves we’ve been to have had piped music and lurid lighting and been a bit Disneyfied. This one had a bit of harsh lighting but was generally rather good.
I monoified it to reduce the garish colours.

After that we went to see the huge old Abbey in the the village. We’re going to go to a concert there this evening.
Edit: the concert was sold out. Boohoo.
