An odd sort of day

I intended to do a recce for a walk today. It was grey and raining first thing, but I made myself go out by late morning. The sun was peeping through.

About half way to the start, I realised that my walking poles were not in the car. It was a long drive, so I convinced myself that I would be fine.

When I arrived in the hamlet of West Hall, the verges we have parked on before were very overgrown. I cannot imagine my fellow walkers being happy t9 park there. It was raining to, so I drove home!

I’d had a request to find images from our reunion in 2010 and 2015 (Medics, class of ‘75). I spent a long time searching through a set of external hard drives. One is password protected and I’m sure I know the password……

I found 2020. The images were taken with my Canon 5D mark iii. When I come to edit them now, they open an old version of camera RAW.

I am nearly at the end of The Forty Rules of Love on Audible, so suggestions for my next book will be gratefully received.

This rose has the most heavenly perfume.
