Ta da!

A land based day for Scout. She joined Cathie and Sarah with some ‘Tarpology’ while I gained a few skills soloing. The wind was strong and gusty so it was how to position yourself and use the wind.
In the afternoon Scout supervised Cathie creating a quilt square for the canoe association 75th anniversary while I played on different canoes seeing what they felt like and which I liked best. I tend to like the most playful ones … perhaps not the best for Scout!
This evening we BBQed with Nick n Sarah. The food was just ready when the growing black cloud burst in a huge deluge… just as we’d moved all the food inside the tent. Phew!
Tonight there was a band playing in the marquee.
