Sightseeing

Visited the American Airbourne Museum at Saint Mere Eglise today. Very interesting and very well portrayed. It happened to be market day so we had a meander through the market too. Amazing stained glass in the church - all relatively modern and I’ve never seen paratroopers with the Virgin Mary depicted in glass before.

We then drove along the coast calling in - amongst other places - at Grand Camp Maisy where the fishermen were mending their nets. Today’s photo is of a pile of fishing ephemera which I just loved.
