To Say Good Morning to Norman

Sir Norman Wisdom was a great Manx benefactor and he was also a near neighbour of mine. Famously he once invited all the children of the Isle of Man to his birthday party!

When I was out walking he would sometimes be on the road in his car and stop for a chat.

This statue of him is situate outside an hotel on Douglas Promenade in the Isle of Man. I usually walk past him when I visit Douglas and I always greet him.

People stare at me a bit but hey ho...
