Produce

I don’t really grow veg, always more excited about having flowers in the house and happy to buy veg (I know! One day) but I am rather proud of my parsley.  And excited that I have managed to get a cut and come again lettuce going and that for once there are several quince on my quince tree.  

Went up to London today for a meeting in the office which involved some real time with real people.  Popped out for lunch and a coffee with one of the Irish team who was over.  Back in the office for another meeting and managed to take back something that I bought for the wedding but didn’t use.  

Caught a reasonable train home and was out in the gardening watering despite rain forecast overnight. The garden looks as if it is late July rather than June.  This time two years ago my big Wedding Day rambler was out - this year it’s completely finished (and we missed half of it). Dahlias are flowering and finally the cephalaria is out.  And poppies galore but they are no use for picking.  Apart from the seed heads.
