Sweden to Denmark

It was a bit stressful this morning.

Breakfast was fine and we checked out and then pressed the bottom for a Bolt to the station, that had been coming in 5 mins was now 10! The train was leaving at 9:10 . Eventually it came and it was my first trip in a Tesla. Must say I was very impressed with the screen showing people walking g and bollards etc. anyway during the journey I mentioned to the lovely guy driving, of course he had perfect English, that our train left at 9:10 and it was now 9:00. He altered his route to take us the the back entrance of the station to avoid all the negotiating of multiple platforms as he knew where he was dropping us off was convenient for the Copenhagen train. We thanked him and then ran down stairs and saw our train on the board. It was sitting waiting to leave . We made it by two minutes….

It was almost 6 hours to Copenhagen but I must say it passed by quite quickly. The seats were large and spacious leg room too. There was a dining car but we had our own supplies.

We arrived in Malmo and only two carriages then went in to Copenhagen. Over the Oresund bridge and through a tunnel and we were in Denmark!

Our hotel was around 20 minute walk from the station. We stopped off at a coffee place and then on we went.

The hotel was lovely, and we had a room at the end of a corridor as requested. Very spacious. Also Eco friendly.

It started to rain, I wasn’t feeling great so I stayed in the hotel and S went exploring. Still have this dam sinus / cold thing and I just felt exhausted. I was happy to stay in. An early night .

We only have one full day In Copenhagen which is not enough but will see the basics!
