The hours roll past - how slowly do buses travel through the streets of west London to Victoria bus station? But hey we got there at 14:00 - another hour or so and we were unpacking at the tent yeee haaa!!
Orientation trip round the camp site - priorities being finding the best toilets and what’s on sale at the bar. And then down to the Park. No bands on of course as it’s Thursday but plenty DJ thumpy music - there was one troubadour in a rammed tent. Too rammed. We sat out watching the throngs with our falafels and cider. Somerset, innit.
We strolled on taking in the crowds and back up to Strummerville to see Heartworms aka Jojo Orme. It was rammed too but pretty darned good. But but … is that rain? No more of that please.
