A parched earth walk

This afternoons walk was along parched fields and areas of very tall grasses, up to about five feet tall.
Ziggy didn't go into the very tall grass areas but still managed to get covered in grass seed, luckily not those horrible barbed ones. A few years ago Jonty got one of those in the white of his eye. He wouldn't let me pull it out so we had to go to the vets. Took him about two seconds, the most expensive two seconds I think I've ever spent!!
