Hail Hydra (ngea)

Despite the heatwave promised in a few days, today has been overcast and windier than a bean eating competition.
Still the urge to venture out with the camera cannot be so easily discouraged.
The hydrangea is a wonderful wee flower to photograph. I don't think I've ever had an image of one turn out bad. This one was dying a few weeks ago but whoever looks after it did a splendid job of bringing it back and now it blooms proudly.
Not the best of today's photos really, but it's the only one that would allow me to make a- ahem!- Marvel-ous pun!
Happy Friday folks, I hope the weekend's promise lives up to its expectations for you.

(For those who care about such things: CZJ Tessar 50mm 2.8, shot just a tad short of wide open; as the camera doesn't recognise vintage glass, the exif isn't accurate on these things.)
