Blues for a grey day

Wind and clouds abound today, and I find myself missing the Sony A7ii with its much higher shutter speeds. Several shots today were ruined by gusts that 1/4000 just wasn't enough for.
Ah well, the best camera you have is the one that you have that WORKS, I suppose.

It certainly didn't stop my daily photowalk, of course; it'd take a hurricane for that. But it made it a lot harder.

Still, I still managed >30 decentish shots, including this periwinkle (at least that's what I think it is, those of you with better botanical knowledge, please correct me) whose blue seemed to glow in opposition to the dullness of the day.

Tiny little thing, and so simple looking; yet utterly beautiful.
If the grey day had been giving me the blues up to that point, this wee fella certainly cheered me up.
