Seven spot ladybird
It’s been a busy card-making day today, which I found even more enjoyable than usual. That’s because I bought a couple of new pieces of digital artwork yesterday, which enabled me to produce some new designs.
First of all I made two personalised cards, one for a golden wedding anniversary and one for a 40th birthday, which were requested by my friend when she came for lunch yesterday. I’ve also designed a new bible verse/encouragement card (in extras) which uses a combination of three of the new pieces of artwork, layered together.
The little ladybird in my photo hitched a ride on a small perspex card stand which I brought back from the Atrium this morning, having swapped it for a different one. I was so happy to see her because the seven spot ladybirds seem to have practically disappeared around here, and all we get are harlequins, which I’m not so keen on.
