Black-headed Grosbeaks

I posted yesterday's Hepatic Tanager this morning. I tried to sharpen it a bit so I hope it's better. I tried again on the Blue grosbeak from a couple of days ago. I hope it's better, too. Let me know what you think.

This blip is a male Black-headed grosbeak. It's not really a pretty bird but it seems to be all over the place. I put the female in as an extra.  I'll try to catch up on Friday's blip as soon as I can. I've got a lot of photos to sort through.  I'm trying very hard to get a hummingbird in flight but they aren't cooperating with me! Cross your fingers. I've seen but haven't been able to capture some of my targets including a Painted Redstart, a Bridled titmouse, a Dusky capped flycatcher and a Scott's Oriole.  I just saw a Western Tanager for the first time but was without my camera.  Such a beautiful bird. Will keep trying.
