Protest March
Today I joined a street photography workshop run by Brian Lloyd Duckett. It was based around Westminster. Brian stated at the start that street photography is not easy - something I have always found to be true. He did tell us not to expect a card full of amazing images at the end of the day. He was right.
I have done very little serious photography for many months, as we have been occupied with moving house and several other time (and brain) consuming activities. One reason why I wanted to join this workshop was to have the opportunity to get back into some more imaginataive photography. It was hard. I seem to have lost my creative eye and I ended up, as anticipated, with very little that really pleased me. Even a protest march in support of Palestine didn't produce the kind of images I might have expected. However, I really enjoyed the day and I am looking forward to more tomorrow.
