Ji came round and we set off for Farnsfield, via Lambley to a small plant nursery that I had wanted to go to a few weeks ago but the road was blocked due to an accident. We both bought more plants of course - they were very healthy (all grown in site) and very good prices. Carried on to Farnsfield and arrived about noon. We found a very good coffee shop and then went in search of the upholstery fabric shop, which we eventually found tucked down a little lane. It was a real Aladdin’s cave of fabric, light fittings, small pieces of furniture and other vintage bits and pieces. My blip is one of the four rooms, all similarly stacked with stock! We both found what we wanted- not easy as there was so much to look through but the owner helped us and everything was very well organised. We browsed a couple of other shops in the village before coming home via one of the large garden centres which surprisingly had cobbles at very competitive prices
