Aperos

The plan was a summer garden aperos for friends or naighbours but the weather worked against me and instead we had a very convivial evening full of chat and laughter in the house.

The day was spent preparing, cleaning (unblocking the Shark), tidying, shopping, dead heading, sewing (and starting to unpick the mistake), and finally laying out food and drink.  One bottle of gin is not mine (Spanish), 2 bottles are not there (Indonesian and English).

It was a lovely evening, 11 plus 12 week old Conor who watched and slept. the first time  I've entertained properly since before Covid.  I'm inspired to do it again.
