Landing gear down
JJ and Liam went to golf. Madness in this heat but they survived and there was a breeze and plenty of shade. I went to town to see a small exhibition, where one of our camera club members was exhibiting.
We’re having a bit of trouble with moths in the house, so I’ve pulled out one of the units in the lounge, where they’ve eaten the carpet and vacuumed and sprayed liberally. It’s an annual problem and where the air vent comes in.
This afternoon I’ve watched the final from Eastbourne. The third set was very good indeed and it could have gone either way.
This evening we’re going into town for an Indian meal with the neighbours two doors away. They are always good company.
Yesterday afternoon we had a pair of Brimstone butterflies feeding on the yellow scabious but only one was there today and I didn’t get a decent shot in the windy conditions.
This wasp was coming in to land and had to veer off to the left after nearly landing on top of the other one. It does look a bit concerned, whereas the one drinking is totally oblivious.
