A grand day out
Went down to the docks in Gloucester at 10:00 to assist with setting up for the Gloucester Armed Forces Day.
Myself and 5 other RBL Riders met up at the cathedral at 12:00 and departed to do our duty on road closure stewarding to allow the parade to pass by smoothly.
We then tagged on at the back of the parade for a slow ride to the docks. Luckily it wasn't far from where we were doing road blocking.
It was a hot day, luckily I remembered to take my cap with a peak otherwise I'd be wearing my RAF Beret and finished up with a burnt nose!
It was a good day, well attended by the public and Julia turned up with the girls, which was a lovely surprise.
