Glacmanis at The Eagle Inn

Cal and Sarah stayed last night as we were heading for Manchester this morning to see Matt and to watch his band performing again, this time at The Eagle Inn in Salford, a short walk from his apartment. 
We had lunch with Matt and then went shopping in Manchester while Matt did his sound checks and moved all the instruments across. For tea, we visited one of the oldest pubs in Manchester; a lovely Tudor building. It was extremely busy outside due to the lovely weather. 
Bellies full, we made our way to the venue and watched the 2 warm-up acts before Glacmanis appeared. I'll admit to having my fingers in my ears and my hearing aids switched off as it was extremely loud! 
We really enjoyed Matt's band, who have a new lead guitarist, but the venue was extremely hot and I was too far away for a decent photo. We were surprised when Matt dedicated one of his songs to us.
