Red Kite

Not the greatest photo, but I didn’t have time to fetch my proper camera when this kite flew over the garden this morning.

Later, I went to see my mother again. Her German carer Frau G had invited her family to my mother’s garden for a barbecue. Having visitors has always been something that my mother enjoyed, but these days she tires quickly, especially in the summer heat. So I took her inside after the meal, and sat with her for a while.
