Hot Days

I watered the potted plants in the morning, and took the picture of the cabbage white butterfly on the buddleia. Chaiyya followed me out and found a place in the shade. Later, I had to carry her indoors - she didn’t want to come in, but I wasn’t going to keep the patio door open all day in this heat.

The forecast for the next couple of days is scary. The Rhine-Main region is going to heat up to 40°C on Wednesday, and the nights are staying warm, too - around 24°C. It’s getting really difficult to stay cool.
