Chilling

We didn’t sleep well last night, it never cooled down. So I got up at 7 am (and already 25°C), watered the garden, fed the cats, and worked for a few hours, before closing all shutters made my office a darkroom. 

The cats and I spent much of the day downstairs on the sofa and comfy chairs. I used the laptop to write emails and do paperwork, while the ladies just slept.

The map of Germany shows today’s heat and UV warnings, with dark purple for „extreme heat stress“. We live in that part. 
The temperature in our garden rose to over 38°C in the afternoon, and tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter. This is unprecedented for early July.
