Balfour Monument

Reading once again about the history of the conflict thanks this time to a short history written by Ilan Pappé. The Balfour family were from East Lothian and so I read about Arthur’s pivotal role while sat underneath his Dad’s monument.

I was on my way home after dropping Hannah off for the bus then grabbing a coffee and provisions at The Mart.
