Sunday: Geranium pratense …
… commonly known as Meadow cranesbill.
We got up around 6am, light rain falling, grey sky and no wind!! Temperature around 18°C and went up to 21°C by this afternoon, wind picked up a little at 7pm but a very nice day :-)
I planted the largest of my Courgette plants “Striato d’Italia” in the deep bed where the Leeks have been growing, one strong leek plant has made a flower head and I hope to keep seeds from it.
Started tidying up along the path down to the greenhouse, cut back raspberry canes (saving ripe fruit for MrD), red campion, Comfrey and other wild flowers pulled up too, then scraped soil which had fallen onto the path which I threw onto the garden.
Watched some “Gardeners World” and Countryfile this evening.
Loads of love and hugs to all my family / Cariad Mawr
