Better known now as East Midlands Airport. TM used to visit relatives at nearby Kegworth, in the days when cows still walked up the street to be milked.
Most of our fellow guests in the hotel bar are here to catch an early flight, our destination is the Crematorium in Loughborough, down the road. Quite the conversation stopper. Goodbye to a long and well-lived life, so smiles, not tears.
