Neil Young at Glastonbury

Last time Neil Young headlined the Pyramid Stage on a Saturday night was in 2009 and I was there. This time I was reduced to watching on television as we weren't lucky with tickets this year. I thought his voice wasn't holding up at times but he got  through the set and showed he was still capable of rocking in the free world. The no- frills approach was apparent in his attire and the cap pulled down over his head. He looked like an ageing grizzly bear. This shot was taken when he was singing Old Man from his 1972 Harvest album. That album, and its predecessor After the Gold Rush, were played nearly to destruction in my student days.
