West Meadow Beach
We were supposed to go out on the boat fishing today, but my husband was feeling a bit off today. We spent the day at West Meadow beach instead, a bit further than the one we usually go to. It was a beautiful, hot day and the water was warm. The nice thing about this beach is there is plenty of nature to see. The osprey were in residence, first time I ever managed to capture osprey. There is a marked off area for piping plovers, which are state protected as they are endangered. Tiny little birds that blend right into their surroundings and are quite difficult to photograph. I managed to get a few. Shots. (Extra). Then of course there are the horse shoe crabs, these two were having a romantic moment.
