Sunday morning

On Saturday I had ridden into work on little Biscuit, and so that meant riding home the long way, all 30 miles of it along to Bugsworth Basin near Whalley Bridge.

(blip of the 350 with one of the basins behind)

It was nice to spend 10 minutes or so enjoying the canal peacefully waking from it's slumber. A passing horse rider struggled past with her horse, explaining that it was scared because I hadn't removed my helmet. Thankfully she managed to get past okay without it fretting too much. That was a new one on me but I will remember for next time.

By now it had starting to drizzle a touch and by the time I crested over the Budgies Perch above Charlesworth I was in cloud. Not for long though, soon home for breakfast and some sleep.

Back in work for the last Nightshift of the weekend, there was a busy start, a video natter with lovely bestie, then some steadier jobs past the 'bongs into the early hours of Monday.
