Dragonboats

It has been dragonboat weekend in Roberts Park, so 17yo, 20yo and I popped down to sample the atmosphere.

A temporary quay had been built under the bridge (extra), and teams raced a short stretch of the river from the other end of the park.

It was very busy, so after an hour or so we ambled off down the river for our usual circuit, down to Dowley Gap and back along the canal.
