Bridge Over the River Esk

We racked up some mileage today walking to Musselburgh; via the Usher Hall to meet N&G off their bus, through the meadows, on to the John Muir Way to Brunston then pausing at the Craigmillar Arts Centre to see the Laleh Sherkat exhibition. Lunch. Back out with Shanks’ pony and towards Newcraighall before picking up a much needed beer at the Queen Margaret’s students union and finally meandering along the Esk to Musselburgh where Staggs welcomed us with open beer taps. It was hot and I think we were all done in. Well, I certainly was!
